My visit was on aug 2 ,2009 traveled from tampa florida. Wonderful presentation but difficult to hear with echos from the mall hallways .Suggest speakers be placed behind the sitting area so all will be easier to understand. Keep up the good work in maintaining the exhibit for future generations.

I wondered why the local paper for most of ND, the Forum doesn’t seem interested in printing anything much about the Horse Park. Publishing and advertisments would definitely help attendance and popularity for the sport. The Horse Park is the only one in the state and many people really do not know anything about it. More information would be nice and also to know if there are races for North Dakota bred horses, how many races, etc. Thank you. Sincerely, Jolene Louden

The key aircraft at the Fargo Air Museum include the Japanese Zero, TBM Avenger, Corsair, PT19, L 19, Stearman, P 51 Mustangs, a replica of the Wright Flyer and more.

My mother grew up in Dunseith, North Dakota. Her father, Henry Sunderland, wrote either the lyrics or music to a song about the International Peace Garden where he worked for a number of years. There is also a fountain on premises that has his name enscribed on the plaque. Do you have any information about either the song or the fountain?

I’m sorry. We do not have a copy of the quotes at the Peace Chapel. We do have Chapel Booklets, at our Gift Shop with the quotes in them, put out by the Order of the Eastern Star @$3.00 each.

I agree times need to posted. Im actually surprised they dont have they’re own website. It would be a wise move the internet is a useful tool and websites can be made fairly cheap these days even very basic ones for pennies and a few hours.

I agree with Merle Enger, what about days and times???? Instead of the public e-mailin to find times why can’t it be put in the paper? Canterbury and Winnipeg print their days and times.

To get the specific information on specific days you will need to contact the track. Their email address is Email: info@hrnd.org. As with most tracks there are varying times for different events so you will want to check with them directly.

Just another word or two about the Pfennig museum. I was surprised at the variety of bear displayed there. There was a cinnamon bear (a real one, not the candy kind) and a polar bear and a few more kinds.

A very, very interesting place to visit–and while you’re in the area, take a tour of one of the power plants. I know Basin Electric gives tours. They’re fascinating.
