This was the site of the fiercest fight between natives and white soldiers in the whole of the state. Today, two monuments exist on the land &ndash; one for the fallen soldiers, and one for all the natives killed in the clash, of which there were men, women, children, and elderly.<o :p></o></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><o :p>&nbsp;</o></span><span style="font-family: Arial;">The site is open from May 16 to September 15, and admission is free. However, you may donate at the site to assist in keeping the area nice and clean. It is an interesting site, and you will find plenty of great opportunities for photographs &ndash; so don&#8217;t forget your camera.<o :p></o></span></p>
