Hebron Lions Club Fall Festival – Hebron, North Dakota

What more fun could you have than to be in Hebron for the Lions Club Fall Festival in mid-September every year?  In fact, 2011 will be the 84th Fall Festival.  This is the longest running fall festival in the state of North Dakota.

The day begins with a parade at 10:00 AM. After the parade there is a craft show, kids games. some groups have food booths and sell lunch. There are many activites scheduled throughout the day and into the evening.  On this day, the town shuts down for the candy throwing, potato-sack racing, and egg-tossing that small town festivals are known for, join in on the fun!

This is held on the Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of September. On Sunday the 11th The Hebron Wildlife & Gun Club will hold a trap shoot at the Trap Grounds east of Hebron. You can shoot for chicken, bacon and turkeys.

Hebron is a small town approximately 60 miles west of Bismarck.  It started out as a water stop for trains along the Northern Pacific Railway.  Although the town never grew to be very big, it has a big heart and committed people to gather together to have a great fall festival.
