The ranch and farm are located just 5 miles from Washburn, North Dakota the home of the North Dakota Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan. Just across the mighty Missouri River are the Fort Clark Historic Site and the Knife River Indian Villages the home of Sakakawea.
They can offer a wide variety of interesting and authentic activities that represent Native American and immigrant civilizations during frontier and modern-day times.
At the Flaming Arrow Amphitheatre you can enjoy such entertainment as Singing, Story telling, Archaeology sites and experience a Powwow. Join in on the Sing-a-longs and

There are 4 tipi lodges that can house up to 6 people each. (Cots and sleeping bags can be rented or you may bring your own.) Make your own food arrangements.

Or you can choose the Covered Wagon which sleeps 2 adults or 4 children inside or you may sleep under it like the pioneers did years ago. (Sleeping bags may be rented or you may bring your own.) Make your own food arrangements.
The Buckhorn Lodge is a modest mobile home. It has a hot-water shower and indoor restroom that everyone has access to. It has one bedroom with 1 bunk bed and another with 2 bunk beds. This facility is used mainly for hunters and Flaming Arrow Campground overflow. Make your own food arrangements.
